Obama calls Tea-Party members Tea-Bag Anti-Government

Wetwired Time Monday, November 9th, 2009 at 3:24 pm by pylorns

Wow, this is what he really thinks about people who are anything by anti-government.  Tea-Party people stand for a return to our core values and beliefs of this country – back to the basic principles of the Constitution. From the New York Times.

Mr. Obama, during his private pep talk to Democrats, recognized Mr. Owens’s election and then posed a question to the other lawmakers. According to Representative Earl Blumenauer of Oregon, who supports the health care bill, the president asked, “Does anybody think that the teabag, anti-government people are going to support them if they bring down health care? All it will do is confuse and dispirit” Democratic voters “and it will encourage the extremists.”

Name calling and trying to discredit your opposition.  He is doing the old game of ‘if you can’t win the argument change the subject and discredit the person.’ The real question is when is President Obama going to have honest talk – when is he going to keep to his promises that he made during the campaign about having a bill available for the people to read prior to it being voted on?  When is he going to answer the questions posed to him?

The Main Stream Media and Coverage of the April 15th Tea Party

Apparently the mainstream media is calling the huge numbers of  protests in all 50 states a group of nutcases, right wing terrorists, whom the government is suggesting be watched in the future.   The only mention of it on MSNBC is the mockery of teabagging.  But oh no, when Cindy Sheehan was out there protesting you know they were all over it like flies on poo.

Teabagging, and the Right To Teabag.

Wetwired Time Friday, April 10th, 2009 at 3:54 pm by Finley

I’m a political moderate, leaning towards conservative. However, more importantly I have a sense of humor that allows for all sides of the political spectrum to be made fun of. With some of the recent movements of late, specifically the Tea Parties and teabagging in general, I felt that this was the most apropos of commentary on the current teabagging movement.

Submitted without further comment, other than… Enjoy.
