That’s right you can truly see how deals are made when two senators from Louisiana and Arkansas held out until they got sweet deals from the other democrats written into the bill. $300 Million dollars of extra money to go to fraud in abuse in Louisiana for Landreiu and some untold backroom deal that Blanche Lincoln finagled.
You now can really see how they get this stuff passed – its all about what they can squeeze out for themselves – not about what’s best for the country.

The two holdouts are Sens. Blanche Lincoln of Arkansas and Mary Landrieu of Louisiana. These two are the ones that can decide it all. Landrieu has announced she isn’t running again so she has nothing to loose in screwing over her own state and every state. This healthcare bill is not good people. You’ll be taxed immediately. See this.
Wow, this is what he really thinks about people who are anything by anti-government. Tea-Party people stand for a return to our core values and beliefs of this country – back to the basic principles of the Constitution. From the New York Times.
Mr. Obama, during his private pep talk to Democrats, recognized Mr. Owens’s election and then posed a question to the other lawmakers. According to Representative Earl Blumenauer of Oregon, who supports the health care bill, the president asked, “Does anybody think that the teabag, anti-government people are going to support them if they bring down health care? All it will do is confuse and dispirit” Democratic voters “and it will encourage the extremists.”
Name calling and trying to discredit your opposition. He is doing the old game of ‘if you can’t win the argument change the subject and discredit the person.’ The real question is when is President Obama going to have honest talk – when is he going to keep to his promises that he made during the campaign about having a bill available for the people to read prior to it being voted on? When is he going to answer the questions posed to him?
The democrats who signed on to the bill and the one republican who voted for it (thank you New Orleans congressional district) are going to find themselves out of a job come next November. By passing that bill they have essentially set it up so conservatives and libertarians will take back those seats in the house.

Famous Los Angeles Street Artist, Saber, sends his message to the country on health care reform. This is his submission for President Barack Obama’s Organizing For America Health Reform Video Challenge. This video was edited by Kevin Chapados.
He was chosen as one of 20 finalists.
To Recap – a guy who paints on buildings and trains etc (most likely without any legal request to do so) was selected by the Democratic National Committee(DNC) and Obama as one of 20 finalists for healthcare art. His art is of the American flag being written over (desecration) until its black – and then is “reborn” without any stars in the blue area.
I found another video in there that – I find particularly despicable. Kids saying “I Deserve healthcare”. I think I’m goign to have to agree and disagree. Where in the constitution does it say that the tax payers and government are responsible for providing healthcare – that in its power we have the “right” to healthcare? While I agree children need healthcare – its not up to the state to provide it for them – its up to the parents.
We need healthcare reform – you’ll get no argument here – but what we need is sound reform that allows competition in health insurance companies across state lines. We need sound reform that doesn’t include taxing me more to pay for someone else’s mistakes in life. Personal responsibility yes. Group responsibility no. Reform where parents are responsible for their children not me.

Yeah that’s right a pro-healthcare move-on.org moon bat bit off the finger of a 65 year old man at a healthcare rally. Wow. Simply wow. (Now allegedly the 65 year old hit the other guy but how does that prompt someone to bite off your freaking finger?!)
THOUSAND OAKS — A 65-year-old man had his finger bitten off Wednesday evening at a health care rally in Thousand Oaks, according to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department.
Sheriff’s investigators were called to Hillcrest and Lynn Road at 7:26 p.m.
About 100 protesters sponsored by MoveOn.org were having a rally supporting health care reform. A group of anti-health care reform protesters formed across the street.
A witness from the scene says a man was walking through the anti-reform group to get to the pro-reform side when he got into an altercation with the 65-year-old, who opposes health care reform.
That’s just great. Lets all get violent over healthcare , not the answer folks.
I’m glad the conservatives are finally coming to political rally’s. The funny thing now is – the liberals are calling the conservatives the “crazy wackos”. I think its pretty obvious that after reading many parts of the health care bill people don’t want this type of government controlled health-care.
Also – from Michelle Malkins site. People in Philadelphia give Kathleen Sebelius and Arlen Spector an earful. The question she asks is “How can you manage healthcare when you can’t even manage this cash for clunkers?”
This type of thing is happening in many parts of the country. The politicians are voting on what they think is good for you – because you obviously don’t know well enough.
