Thank god for the plastic cover/film.  My iPhone popped out of my golf cart along with a bunch of other stuff and I ran right over the damn thing.  The protective film that I had on the front of the iPhone took the brunt of the damage as all the scratches etc were on it.  The iphone itself was not damaged with the exception of a scratch to the screen that is almost unnoticable.

The crazy thing is that in all my life with so many cell phones never had that happened to any phone - I’ve rarely dropped any cell phones even - and I’ve dropped the iphone, ran over it with a golf cart… what’s next?  One thing I can say these things are durable.  Always remeber your protection though.
