Damn You, Jo.
Thursday, July 26th, 2007 at 4:25 am by FinleyIt’s 4:30 in the morning.
I’ll pay for it later when I have to go to work.
But damnit, I had to read through the last 400 pages of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows tonight, because once the story builds up it never stops. The final conflict of the book itself takes up around 200 pages.
J.K. Rowling managed to do soemthing in this last book she hadn’t done before- she elicited a few “holy SHIT!” moments from me, along with several other emotional reactions. The book is outstanding fiction, nd a fine ending to the story that had taken 17 years to complete. I’m damned impressed, by any stretch of the imagination.
Still, when Hermoine turned out to be made of chcocolate, I was fairly shocked…
Out.
