Four years ago, the unthinkable happened. In one of the oldest cities in the world, what was considered an unstoppable force was brought down by petty efforts, crass attitudes and a lack of teamwork.

Tonight, The Dream Team was redeemed. Team USA Basketball just won the gold medal in a nail-biter against Team Spain to win the Gold medal after a disastrous Bronze medal finish four years ago.

Four years ago, Team USA was an embarassment. This year, the team returned to form under the leadership of LeBron James, Kobe Bryant (yeah, I know) and Coach K himself.

Hell of a way to finish up the Olympics, I’d say. Well played, gentlemen. Well played.
