The Sum Total of Your Associations: Barack Obama and Rashid Khalidi
Thursday, October 30th, 2008 at 7:44 am by pylornsLet’s assume that I’m running for President. Now lets assume that there are pictures of me at Eagles Nest launching a campaign party with Hitler for mayor of Berchtesgaden. Then there are some pictures of me and Fidel Castro, where I’m smoking a fat cuban cigar and shaking hands. Then there are some pictures of me chilling with David Duke at a “rally”.
Would those associations not somehow shape my life and influence my choices in the future? You would be seriously questioning my associations with these men whose lives are very off kilter. But to assure you that I was seriously not like these men I’d tell you that “These men are no longer in association with me, they do not advise me, nor do our views have similar lines.”
But the question you should ask is, ok maybe through the course of my life I had met one or two questionable people, but how many people in my past does it take for you to get a picture that maybe that’s not exactly the truth. What is the sum total of my associations with questionable people and how does that really factor into my decisions I’d make?
So we have Barack chilling with Rashid Kahlidi who is a professor and activist tied to the PLO. Not only that, the other good buddy Bill Aires, who Barack does not associate with and who does not offer adivce on his policy, got together with Barack to give $70,000 to Rashid. Rashid is the type of guy who would like the Jews to disapear, he wished that the Germans had finished the job back in old W.W. II.
I’m very curious to see whats on that tape.
