Nine months after becoming the most awesome pilot since the Mercury Astronauts, Capt. Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger is taking back into the skies for US Airways. This time, he’ll be a management pilot as well as a member of the US Airways flight operations safety management team.

Never mind the fact that this guy probably gets free drinks for life at any bar he goes into just with a single sentence (“Hi, I’m the guy that landed a plane safely in the HUDSON RIVER.”), he’s also going to be the guy that tells other pilots how to be safe.

Tell me that’s a class you hope to never have to use the skills from. I mean, I hated having to use algebra after I left school. Imagine how these guys have to react should they have to remember the first lesson from THIS class.
