Austin Texas gives Representative Lloyd Doggett an Earful on Healthcare reform

posted by pylorns

I’m glad the conservatives are finally coming to political rally’s.  The funny thing now is – the liberals are calling the conservatives the “crazy wackos”.  I think its pretty obvious that after reading many parts of the health care bill people don’t want this type of government controlled health-care.

Also – from Michelle Malkins site. People in Philadelphia give Kathleen Sebelius and Arlen Spector an earful.  The question she asks is “How can you manage healthcare when you can’t even manage this cash for clunkers?”

This type of thing is happening in many parts of the country.  The politicians are voting on what they think is good for you – because you obviously don’t know well enough.

Problem: Someone has pre-existing conditions that bar him from getting his own health insurance, or any thing that he could really afford. He will have to get insurance through a spouse or through work. Marriage is another problem in most states. The job market is another. Prescriptions alone are $160 a month. There are also doctor’s visits for blood work, consults, check ups. Surgeries.

    Solution: ??

A representative who refuses to represent his constituents? Sounds like it’s time for them to vote Doggett out and find one who will.

Marie, no one is saying that we don’t need healthcare reform. Just not the proposed bill for universal healthcare. I’m in favor of scrapping insurance except for emergency situations – what we had in the past before we used insurance for EVERYTHING like drugs, doctor visits. It used to be the doctors prices were moderately reasonable and when you went you just paid the doctor – there was no billing of insurance.
