Road Hazards
posted by pylornsThis morning when turning on to the street that my work place is on I heard a “pop”. When I pulled into the parking lot, I heard the hissing sound. Yep, a fairly fast leak. I quickly hopped back into my 4runner and drove right up the road to the Discount Tire only to find this:
In my tire. And of course no road hazard on the used 4runner I just bought plus the fact that its past 30 days since I bought the 4runner so the dealer washes its hands clean…

An anecdote:
Recently, I was backing out of my parking space behind my apartment. Someone was driving down the alley. Neither of us saw the other, and there was a small fender bender. Dent in his car, a scratch on mine. Oh, wait, did I say his car? I mean his ex-wife (my neighbor)’s car. She came running out of the house screaming. He called the police to file a report. Three patrol cars pull up to find me, standing confused and upset, while the other two people assault one another.
Aren’t minor car accidents just the greatest?
