It's been statistically shown that "get out the vote" campaigns typically help Republicans more than Democrats. Every time I'm at the Drafthouse, I go and shake hands with one of the voting volunteers and thank them for helping John McCain. They always get a puzzled look and tell me they aren't here supporting any particular party, and I mention that get out the vote campaigns always help Republicans, and thank them again.
