Austin Texas Premier of Zack and Miri Make a Porno with Kevin Smith
posted by pylornsTomorrow night Davis, Larkynn, and myself are heading down to the Paramount theatre to see Kevin Smith Premier Zack and Miri Make a Porno.

Lifelong platonic friends Zack (Seth Rogen) and Miri (Elizabeth Banks) look to solve their respective cash-flow problems by making an adult film together. As the cameras roll, however, the duo begins to sense that they may have more feelings for each other than they previously thought.
Director Kevin Smith will be live in person to introduce the screening and answer questions after the film.
Following the event, attendees are invited to stay and enjoy the Air Sex World Championships, presented by Fantastic Fest & the Alamo Drafthouse. Think “air guitar” with more sizzle.
We will be taking pictures and hopefully get some audio or video of the premier.

I believe that with Seth Rogan headlining this one. This is probably going to be the film that kicks Kevin into primetime. My favorite thing about Smith films is obviously their clever and realistic dialogue, which I am sure this one will be dripping with.
However, my other favorite thing about Kevin Smith is that he casts relatively unknown actors in most circumstances (Except Jersey girl, meh).
Right now Rogan is King Midas, pretty much anything him or Apatow touch breaks 100M. Since most Smith Endeavors don’t break 20M (Clerks 2 did 25ish). It will be pleasing to see what happens if Smith does indeed make it big(ger). Will he stick to his roots? Maybe we will get to see him direct some of the new comic book movies.
Time will tell
