Austin and Surrounding Area 3g Coverage

Austin 3g Coverage

I’ve marked the areas that so far I’ve found to be the “suck zone”.  It appears AT&T’s coverage in the Austin surrounding areas is less than lacking.  I’m hoping that they improve it, you would think that being a fairly large iPhone market here that they would beef up.  What bad zones have you run across here?

    78704, or should I say more specifically…

    “My House”

Arrrrrrrrgh. I work in 78701 and it’s fine there, but I swear I get 1 bar at the house almost 50% of the time.

    Grrrrrrrrrr.

So add another ’suck zone’ just north of St Ed’s, would ya?

    :)

yup. I get mostly 5 bar coverage until I get to McNeil road.. A block from my house. Good thing I have decent wifi at home. I’ve heard AT&T is doing some serious investment. Hopefully that will improve the coverage in Williamson county.

Another “suck zone” in the hills southwest of 2222 and 360. I’m lucky if I can keep a freaking EDGE connection along parts of the road, and NO 3G at my house. (1 mile north of SkiShores Cafe.) So much for waiting for 3G.
