SamIAm, I welcome comments and opinions. However, with vague, paranoid jackassery like that, it is hard to have an intellectual conversation. If you would like to leave another comment, one that could actually be responded to, please feel free. I look forward to it.

Also, I have a great deal of respect for President Bush.

Well the answer is not Barak Obama either. The answer is a Libertarian view of the Constitution. And that’s what you’ll get here more often than not.

But, I would apreciate it if you leave a comment like that you give a bit more information, because Bush was not in office when the ban on hand guns went into effect.

They actually had a british (now american) commentator on Fox news today talking with one of the handgun activist groups that work to ban hand guns in the US. The commentator stated first “this must be a big set back for your grou”

“Yes it is, but we will continue to work to stop the needless murders by handguns.”

The next thing I heard was brilliant. The british commentator says “I’m originally from the UK where handguns are banned, while none of us have that, we also have 5 times the property theft and breakin of the United States, what do you say to that?”

The activist says “Well you also have a lower death rate by hand guns.”

Fox News: “But we have a higher crime rate”

Activist: “We want to preserve life, if you get robbed, at least you’re alive.”

WTF!?!?!?! Seriously, I can’t believe we have these wack-jobs around that would rather you get robbed, beaten down and not have anyway to defend yourself….
