W00t New Car

So I got a new car this past week, a 2006 VW Passat. All in all a very good car.

National Bosses Day is Today

Wouldn’t it be crazy if today some “lone” gunman came into his workplace and pulled a shooting spree especially taking out his boss “Postal” style. We at wetwired suggest you just act out these thoughts through the video game postal and not real life.

Hey, who won the game toni- OH, FUCK. North Korea’s A Nuclear Power.

The crazy little bastard did it.

Despite multiple warnings not to do so, North Korea conducted a nuclear weapons test today. Of course, the next question is… what the fuck do we do with them now? Kim Jong-Il is crazy enough to try something further if the test was successful, as all reports seem to indicate.

Jeez, can we just go ahead and let the CIA kill this guy already? I mean, that kinda what they used to do pretty darn well. Hell, they can even make it look like a natural death nowadays.

For once, I’m really scared about this situation. Before today, they were an annoying presence but didn’t really have the power to do anything.

Now, they have the power.

Travellin’ For The Man…

So, I’m doing my first company road trip.

Surprisingly, I’m pretty excited about this. Myself and two other guys were sent up from the town that hosts Wetwired Central up to OKC, where I’ll spend the week, return home Friday, and likely return next week. The trip up today wasn’t too bad (and I got paid for the whole thing, natch) despite an hour-long layover in Dallas. 7 hours of time logged for travel alone ain’t bad, especially when you add an additional hour for going up to the office here in town to meet with the managers we’re interviewing with.

I’ve been wanting this for a while, actually. I’ve been wanting to do travel, and the opportunity came up. Hence, I’m sitting here in a hotel, typing on my laptop while the football game plays on tv.

Life is pretty good, sometimes. Not always, but sometimes.

Out.
