Out of curiousity, anyone else see the game last night? Boston managed to beat the crud out of St. Louis, and it was all on the strength of Kurt Schilling’s torn ligament. A side note- the man has had two repair jobs done on the ankle since the thing tore. They go in, suture the whole thing to the bone, and sew it up.

I know I mock a lot of things on this website. Not this one. Kurt Schilling is the fricking MAN. That simple. I just hope that he can get the damn thing repaired properly and rest during the off-season. Further… I really hope that it isn’t all for naught.

That’s right. You read that correctly. I’m going to go ahead and root for Boston to break the streak of futility, and it’s all because of Kurt. Let’s see them get it right this year.
