Aparently things are going so slow with the lack of internet setup and things getting going that Kevin at Wizbang has to post about what is happening outside the event.

There’s plenty of action outside the convention hall, as well as inside. Right across the street from the entrance to MSG local artist Stephen Stoller is painting the cityscape as I write this. He’s got an award winning series of Ground Zero paintings at his site, which is very well done. I talked to him for a few minutes - he paints all over the city [Ed - He must have some connections since he was well inside the security zone] and plans on doing another painting later in the week.

Apparently life outside the RNC media bubble proceeds unabated…
