I frequent other blogs all the time, and this one is of course someone who I know from dateproject, she stumbled across or I stumbled across her site.. anyway, what Sepi had to say struck a cord.That Broken Girl

“after working for three weeks at this restaurant, i finally saw a couple i looked up to. they were probably 60 or so and they finished each other’s sentences and teased each other and really loved each other a lot, and i saw all of this in the minute or two it took to seat them. most couples either hang all over each other or sit on opposite ends of the booth, and both are lame, but this couple had it together.

is it bad to have expectations of what a relationship should be? do i have the wrong expectations? the prospect of dating is frightening and disheartening and i don’t really want to date. i just want to meet the person i’m supposed to spend the rest of my life with when i’m supposed to start spending the rest of my life with him and i want a sign from heaven when it happens. with my luck i’ll probably be struck by lightning. ”
